 ELIGIBILITY:

St. Tammany Parish School Board sponsors an Honor Band for students in grades 9-12 who attend one of the parish's public schools and are enrolled in their school's band program.  Admission to this ensemble is by audition. The audition, rehearsals, and concert rotate between the high schools in the parish.   

 

 AUDITION DATES AND LOCATIONS:

Date:

November 10, 2010

Place: 

Covington High

Time:

Individual times, beginning at 5:00pm, will be assigned after registration deadline.

Fee: 

• $5.00 per audition

• Students auditioning on more than one instrument must pay the fee for each instrument.

• Fees should be paid to the student's school.  A single school check, payable to St. Tammany Parish School, must be mailed by the deadline to: Margaret Sharpe, St. Tammany Parish School Board, 321 N. Theard St., Covington, LA  70433. 

Registration Form:

• Directors should send a copy of the registration form with the fees to Mrs. Sharpe.

• Directors must also email the registration form to Neal Naquin at neal.naquin@stpsb.org by the deadline so that your students will be scheduled for audition times.

Deadline: 

October 22, 2010

Students who are registered late will be assigned whatever times are still available.

Audition Requirements:

Same as current District Honor Band audition requirements

 AUDITION RESULTS:

Audition results will be posted as soon as available - usually the night of auditions. Click on "Audition Results" in the navagation bar on the left.
