THE ENSEMBLES:
L.M.E.A. District IX sponsors three high school performing ensembles, District Honor Band, District Honor Choir, and District Honor Jazz Band, and three junior high ensembles, Jr. Hi. District Honor Band, Jr. Hi. District Honor Choir, and Jr. Hi. District Honor Jazz Band. Admission into each ensemble is by audition.
ELIGIBILITY:
Students whose directors are current members of LMEA are eligible to audition. A student auditioning for a district ensemble must be a member of the school's instrumental or choral music program.
AUDITION DATES AND LOCATIONS:
Auditions dates and places for each ensemble are listed below. Times will be scheduled after fees and registration are received. For specific information about registration deadline, fees, chairperson, or audition material, click on an ensemble link below or in navagation bar at left.
